TOTAL FOOT & POSTURE

TAKING CARE OF YOUR FEET

PODIATRIST IN BELLA VISTA AND THE HILLS DISTRICT

Total Foot & Posture is a podiatry clinic in Bella Vista, in Sydney's Hills District, with a second clinic in Bankstown. Our podiatrists assess how your feet, ankles, knees and hips move together, because a foot that rolls in too far (overpronation) or stays too rigid can change how your shin, knee and hip rotate with every step. We explain what we find in plain language, then build a treatment plan around your goals using custom orthoses, joint mobilisation, dry needling, footwear advice and targeted exercise. We're registered with most private health funds and offer on-the-spot HICAPS claiming.

You should see a podiatrist if:

  • You have heel pain, especially with your first steps in the morning
  • You have pain in the arch, ball of the foot or back of the ankle
  • Your knees, shins or hips ache with walking or running
  • Your ankles roll or give way often
  • Bunions, corns or cracked heels are causing discomfort
  • Your child has flat feet, in-toeing, toe walking or trips often
  • A sports injury isn't settling
foot pronation

When orthoses suit your condition, we prescribe them based on your assessment findings and the shape of your feet, then review how they're working at follow-up. No GP referral is needed to book. Visit us at Level 4, Suite 424, 14 Lexington Drive, Bella Vista, a short drive from Baulkham Hills, Norwest, Kellyville and Castle Hill.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT SEEING A PODIATRIST

No. You can book directly with Total Foot & Posture without a GP referral. A referral is only needed if you're claiming through a Medicare care plan or a program such as DVA.

They can. Your feet influence how your shins, knees and hips rotate while you walk. Excessive or restricted foot motion can change load through these joints, so a biomechanical assessment checks whether your feet are contributing to pain further up the body.

Bring the shoes you wear most often, including sports or work shoes, and any orthoses you currently use. If you have scan reports, X-rays or a referral letter, bring those too, along with your health fund card.

Most private health extras policies include podiatry. We process claims on the spot through HICAPS. Your rebate depends on your fund and level of cover, so check with your insurer.
