CURLY TOES

Curly Toes Treatment Sydney

If your child is learning to walk and you're noticing that their third or fourth toe is curling underneath the adjacent toe, they may have a condition known as 'curly toes.' This is a genetic condition caused by tendons underneath the toe that are too tight, pulling the toe under the next and forming a curl. As your child grows, the condition should correct itself and cause no major issues.

A child with curly toes may encounter symptoms like discomfort during movement, flat and or thick toenails and sores or blisters. If discomfort turns into pain, we recommend you take your child to come see one of our experienced podiatrists for proper treatment. Depending on the case, treatment can range from a simple footwear change to surgery.

Visit us at our Bankstown or Riverstone clinics today or give us a call to organise your consultation. There's no referral needed to see our podiatrists.
